Ranged Basic Abilities

Adrenaline-generating ranged abilities for your rotation

Overview

Ranged basic abilities focus on building and maintaining Searing Winds, a buff that increases your damage output. Many abilities interact with Snipe by reducing its cooldown.

All of these Ranged Basic Abilities will generate a base of 9% adrenaline.


Core Basics

Basic Attack

Basic Attack is your default ability dealing 110%-130% damage with no cooldown.

Piercing Shot

Unlocked at level 13, Piercing Shot fires two piercing shots dealing 45%-55% damage per hit with 2 hits and a 3s cooldown. Each hit reduces the cooldown of Snipe by 2.4s.


Buff Abilities

Galeshot

Unlocked at level 58, Galeshot fires an infused shot at the target dealing 90%-110% damage with a 20.4s cooldown. This ability applies Searing Winds to yourself for 6s.

Searing Winds: Ranged attacks deal an additional 20% bonus damage with each hit.


Area of Effect

Ricochet

Unlocked at level 67, Ricochet fires a shot which ricochets off the target dealing 75%-85% damage to the target and up to 2 additional enemies within 5 tiles. If no additional targets can be found, the target will be hit for an additional 15%-20% damage for each missing enemy. This ability has a 10.2s cooldown.

Can be upgraded to Greater Ricochet via an ability codex for enhanced multi-target damage.


Stuns

Binding Shot

Unlocked at level 31, Binding Shot fires a binding shot dealing 65%-75% damage with a 15s cooldown. This ability stuns the target for 1.2s and binds the target for 9.6s. It holds 2 charges (second charge unlocks at level 54).
